Male, female, and common causes of infertility

Although today we talk about infertility treatment as a joint treatment that both partners go through, when we talk about the most common causes of infertility we can talk about:

- Causes of male infertility
- Causes of infertility in women
- Combined causes of infertility
The most common patterns of male sterility

It is not as commonly known that after the years of the partner, male infertility is the biggest factor that affects the possibility of conception in as much as 40%. A mitigating circumstance is that male infertility is very easily diagnosed.

The most common causes of male sterility include:
Testicular causes of infertility - They represent factors that adversely affect the maturation of spermatozoa in the testicles. Some of the causes that lead to this disorder are hereditary abnormalities (Klinefelter's, Down's syndrome, cystic fibrosis, Y chromosome microdeletion), non-genetic disorders of testicular development (testicular atrophy, cryptorchidism), varicocele, mumps, orchitis, radiation, chemotherapy, medicines and more.

Post testicular causes - These are factors that damage the excretory ducts and cause sexual dysfunction.

Pre-testicular causes that represent glandular disorders as well as disorders in the hormonal support of the formation and maturation of spermatozoa

Infections (chronic prostatitis, epididymitis and orchitis)

Immunological causes of male sterility
In a third of patients, male infertility is caused by blockages or the absence of tubules in the testicles, which can occur as a result of an injury or a vasectomy.
A good sign in the treatment of male infertility is the existence of the fact of conception occurred in the past, but this does not mean that your sperm is compatible with your current partner.
The most common causes of female sterility

As these are the most common causes of female sterility, specialists in examining the absence of pregnancy aim to detect the following conditions:

Endometriosis - Often characterised as a disease of modern women. Essentially, it is about the cells that are normally found inside the uterus are located in the abdominal cavity. Under the influence of hormones during the month, these cells change and cause various changes, creating growths on the intestines, fallopian tubes or ovaries. This condition makes it very difficult to get pregnant.

Absence of ovulation - Many women do not ovulate due to various conditions, usually it is due to hormonal problems that can be treated with the right therapy. There are several ways to determine if you are ovulating: folliculometry, cervical secretion test, and LH hormone analysis

Polycystic ovaries - Read more about PCOS here.

Obstructed fallopian tubes - In almost 30% of women who have difficulty staying in another state, damage to the fallopian tubes or their complete impassability was discovered during infertility diagnostics.

Poor egg quality - The quality of the eggs decreases because not every egg that matures during the menstrual cycle can be fertilised. this is why, with age, it becomes increasingly difficult to conceive. It is also why miscarriages and various problems with the fetus become much more common. The quality of the ovum is more difficult to detect, but the absence of pregnancy can suggest such problems.
